EVALUATION CRITERIA<\/strong><\/th>\r\nScore<\/strong><\/th>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/thead>\r\n
CRITERIA 1<\/strong>: Excellence of the candidate\u2019s CV.<\/td>\r\n0-40<\/strong><\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
1.1<\/strong> Scientific production: Number and relevance of peer reviewed publications (authorship, citations, impact factor, quartiles), other publications (book chapters, clinical guidelines, reports), patents, hard\/software development<\/td>\r\n0-20<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
1.2<\/strong> Research experience: Participation in international conferences (poster and oral presentations), participation in collaborative projects, international and inter-sectoral mobility, experience in management of research or innovation<\/td>\r\n0-10<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
1.3<\/strong> Personal grants and fellowships (both requested and granted), awards and honours, and other professional activities (reviewer, chair, memberships, etc.)<\/td>\r\n0-5<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
1.4<\/strong> Teaching and supervision activities<\/td>\r\n0-3<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
1.5<\/strong> Participation in public awareness or other scientific communication activities<\/td>\r\n0-2<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
CRITERIA 2:<\/strong> Excellence of the Project proposal<\/td>\r\n0-60<\/strong><\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
2.1<\/strong> Quality, feasibility and innovative aspects of the proposed research project. If applicable, competences and infrastructure of the research stay host organisation<\/td>\r\n0-30<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
2.2<\/strong> Impact on enhancing the potential and future career prospects of the researcher and capacity of the researcher to reach a position of professional maturity in research<\/td>\r\n0-6<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
2.3<\/strong> Coherence and effectiveness of the work plan, including plan for Open Access to scientific publications and research data<\/td>\r\n0-15<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
2.4<\/strong> Appropriateness of risk management<\/td>\r\n0-5<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
2.5<\/strong> Ethics issues<\/td>\r\n0-2<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
2.6<\/strong> Gender issues (research-related)<\/td>\r\n0-2<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
TOTAL SCORE<\/strong><\/td>\r\n100<\/strong><\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\nThe maximum score is 100. A threshold of 60 will be applied in this phase. The priority in ex aequo is defined by the score of Criteria 2 (Excellence of the project proposal). Up to 18 best ranked applicants above the threshold will pass to the Interview phase.\r\n\r\nThe evaluation criteria for the Personal Interview<\/strong> is:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

CRITERIA 1<\/strong>: Scientific knowledge and skills in the area of interest, understanding of a field of study and mastery of research associated with that field<\/td>\r\n0-60<\/strong><\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
CRITERIA 2<\/strong>: Capacity of creative thinking, critical analysis, and synthesis of new and complex ideas<\/td>\r\n0-20<\/strong><\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
CRITERIA 3<\/strong>: Presentation and communication skills, ability to explain the expected outcome and value of their research to the research community and also to lay audience<\/td>\r\n0-20<\/strong><\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
TOTAL SCORE<\/strong><\/td>\r\n100<\/strong><\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n\r\n\r\nThe Score of the Evaluation of the CV and Project Proposal will weigh 70%, and the score of the Personal Interview will weight 30%, of the final score. The threshold for selection is 70 of the final score.\r\n\r\nThe following scoring scale will be used:\r\n\r\n0<\/strong> – Proposal fails to address the criterion or cannot be assessed due to missing or incomplete information.\r\n20<\/strong> – Poor. The criterion is inadequately addressed, or there are serious inherent weaknesses.\r\n40<\/strong> – Fair. Proposal broadly addresses the criterion, but there are significant weaknesses.\r\n60<\/strong> – Good. Proposal addresses the criterion well, but a number of shortcomings are present.\r\n80<\/strong> – Very Good. Proposal addresses the criterion very well, but a small number of shortcomings are present.\r\n100<\/strong> – Excellent. Proposal successfully addresses all relevant aspects of the criterion.
