Today starts the 2023 MCAA Annual Conference and General Assembly of the Marie Curie Alumni Association, hosted by the University of Cordoba. MCAA members are current or past fellows in actions funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme.
“The MCAA Annual Conference is a major forum of debate between researchers and stakeholders from academia, policymaking, industry, and the third sector. Over the years, it has become a key platform for researchers to contribute to shaping science policy in Europe, its impact on research and society at large.”
Our IMIBIC-P2Med fellows André, Maribel, Marina and Silvia are attending the event, where they will be talking about science diplomacy, communication, the new EU Innovation Agenda, and sustainability.
Other hot topics during the 2-day event will be balancing family and career, Open Science, grant writing, or researcher mental health and wellbeing. We are sure that it will also be a great opportunity for networking for our fellows, and for all the attendants to enjoy the wonders that the beautiful city of Cordoba has to offer.
